Just received it as a gift.

Cannot open the battery backing and the probe cover will not stay on.

Awesome customer service

I had received this as a gift, but didn’t keep the directions. It was set on Celsius. I could t figure out how to switch it to Fahrenheit. I left a review stating this information and within 30 minutes I received an email with the instructions on how to change it. Very impressive customer service.
